Sabrina wanted to heal people, not become a soldier. Even now, a wounded person reaches her as a patient first. Uniforms, grudges, and arguments can wait until they are no longer dying.

The wrong kind of compassion

A gifted academy graduate from an ordinary family, Sabrina entered the Order as a medical specialist. It looked like an opportunity worth celebrating. Treating its subjects exposed her to what was being done to people like Mave. Her inability to regard their suffering as routine made her a problem.

The doctor on the other side

The Order subjected Sabrina to psychological correction intended to remove her compassion, not genetic modification. It failed to make her indifferent. The changes did sharpen her ability to recognize injuries and work under battlefield pressure. After their escape, she became the crew’s chief medic and helped Fjela remove the Order’s eye implant.

Outside the medical bay

At work she is composed, precise, and difficult to distract. Outside it, a little clumsiness makes an unexpected contrast. She likes sweets, good food, attention, and closeness more than her professional manner first suggests. Feeling safe enough to show it is another matter.
